Hi, I am up at the club house because it seems to be the only place that I can get on the net.  We are in a really beautiful place called  Cuttys Resort on Lake Okoboji.  We are about 20 miles from Ocheden Iowa, where dads family is from .  We did locate some of them today, thank God, because after all these miles that precious truck of ours has blown an injector pump.  That’s right around $2,000!  As luck will have it one of dads family members is a mechanic and happens to run the only shop in 35 miles. Its a really long and complicated story, and as soon as we get the details worked out you will hear from us.  It does look like we will not get out of here until at the soonest next Thurs.  Unless we can figure another way to pull this sled out of here, and I don’t see any big horses around here.  His family are wonderful considering he has not been here in 50 yrs.  They are treating us just like family and for that I am forever grateful.  This is terrible but we could have been in a much worse place, like in the middle of the Badlands on a pink gravel road.  We even have a loaner car as long as we need it.  Tomorrow is another day.  Can’t do any thing until Mon.  Went to the cemetary this afternoon , but even with the best directions, it seems they have just painted all the posts with IDs on them and have not put to numbers back on yet. If we were not having bad luck we would have no luck at all.  Dad can’t get the satellite to set up properly and the phones don’t work most of the time and my wireless card seems useless here, but other that that all is well.        Love  Mom
